Welcome to First Christian Forest Grove! Since 1882, First Christian Church has been a lighthouse of God’s love on the corner of 19th and Cedar in Forest Grove, Oregon. The building and congregation have changed over the years, but the timeless values of Faith, Hope, and Love found in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ are alive and unchanging here.

Pastor Spencer King, our Pastor for 25 years, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026. His Celebration of Life will be held at First Christian Church, 2231 19th Avenue, Forest Grove, OR on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
We’ve had a very successful Rummage Sale! As of July 29th, we have taken in $5,162.00!
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this a successful fund raiser to help with parking lot repairs. And we also want to thank everyone who came and purchased items. We couldn’t have done it without you!

9:30 am - Sunday School for all ages, except for Summer Break (July 1st until after Labor Day)
10:45 am - Worship Service in the Main Sanctuary (Transportation & childcare available)
10:30 am - 12:15 pm - Nursery attendants will be available for children 5 years and under
Wednesdays
1:00 pm - Adult Bible Study
6:30 pm - Adult Bible Study
Wednesday Bible Study sessions will not meet during Summer Break (July 1st until after Labor Day)

Church History
Early records indicate that First Christian Church of Forest Grove had its beginnings in December of 1882 with a gathering of just nine "interested persons."
